ESports turns online gaming into a spectator sport. It mimics the experience of watching a professional sporting event, except instead of watching a physical event, spectators watch video gamers compete against each other. And esports players gain social and emotional learning skills as they establish teams, develop mentorships, collaborate, and compete amongst students who may not otherwise interact with one another.
I don't like it. I of course respect the time and effort players in E Sport puts in it, but for me its just too... Closed. Little scale, without responsiveness of real contact, like in physical sports.
For me its boring, also because I don't play games like these.
